About Our Antibacterial Products

We do not believe in pursuing functionality at the expense of safety and based on this philosophy, we are involved in the research and development of deodorants that control odors generated by various industries with the aim of creating an eco-friendly environment.
The impact of common antibacterial deodorants on the environment and human health is proportional to its strength. Committed to using constituents of natural origin, in 1993, we blended various ingredients mainly with deodorizing amino acid to produce an antibacterial deodorant called "Sentris E-1." This safe and powerful antibacterial deodorant does not harm the environment or human health.
Sentris E-1 met the newly established guidelines by the Society of International sustaining growth for Antimicrobial Articles (SIAA) for antibacterial tests and safety in 1998 and is the only organic antibacterial agent recognized for its antibacterial activity, receiving the SIAA mark. From general households to business sites, Sentris E-1 is widely trusted and used.

G2TAMseries

This product series is available in many forms including spray, pump, and refill. It features antiviral, deodorant and mildew-proofing effects and can be used not only for professional sites but for homes as well.

Media Coverage

1999 A blood test company declared at an academic conference that G2TAM was superior to hypochlorous acid for the cleaning of dialysis equipment. This was also published in a medical journal.
2008 G2TAMα Plus was published in the book "18 Ways to Protect Families from the New Type of Influenza" by Professor Otsuki of Kyoto Sangyo University.
The same year, G2TAMα Plus was featured on the TV show "Minomonta no Omoikkiri TV."
2011 We donated G2TAMα Plus, hand cleansing solutions, and antibacterial wet tissues to Minami Sanriku in Sendai, which suffered from the Great East Japan Earthquake. Donations were greatly appreciated by the community.
2013 G2TAM was featured in a weekly women’s magazine as disaster prevention supplies.
2016 When some patients were suspected of Norovirus infection at an evacuation center for the Kumamoto earthquake, a scene aired on TV showed G2TAMα Plus being used to prevent mass infection.

Role of Surfactants in Sentris E-1α

  • Cationic surfactant
    The source of main antibacterial strength. This surfactant features ionic adsorption and antistatic effects on odorous substances.
  • Amphoteric ionic surfactant
    The ions of this surfactant adsorb and alter odorous substances.
    It reacts to both positive and negative charges and has an effect on a wide range of odors. In addition, it stabilizes the solution, acts as an antibacterial aid, and has a cleansing effect.
  • Nonionic surfactant (amino acid)
    Acts as a deodorizing aid and stabilizes the solution.
  • Surfactants impair microbial enzymes and prevent bacterial growth by inhibiting the function of microorganisms.

  • Deodorizing power
    The combination of Sentris E-1’s deodorizing action and citrus essential oil creates a powerful synergistic effect (the deodorizing mechanism of the flavonols is expected to be the same Sentris BL) and we anticipate its application to grow.
  • Deodorizing mechanism
    The positive ions of the odorant are adsorbed by the negative ions of Sentris E-1Aα, decomposing the odor. Conversely, when the odorant consists of negative ions, the product’s positive ions adsorb and deodorize it through the same mechanism.

Role of Surfactants in Sentris E-1Aα

Use Sentris E-1Aα when you need a heavy-duty deodorant for deodorizing spoilage or other strong odors.

  • A fresh deodorant consisting of plant extracts, which are an excellent natural air-cleaning ingredient, and chemical ingredients that decompose odorous substances.
  • Essential oil—the aromatic constituent of plants—often has a fragrance of its own and the power to adsorb, detoxify, and clean various contaminated gases in the natural environment.
  • Sentris BL extracts and concentrates the essential oil’s ability, imparting stronger deodorizing power. It also contains natural substances that inactivate both acidic and alkaline gases such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, which are source of pungent odors. Sentris BL is a deodorant that adsorbs and decomposes odorous substances by chemical and physical action.
    (It is made of natural ingredients and food additives and contains no harmful minerals or heavy metals.)

  • Multi-alpha CS is a liquid composed mainly of activated charcoal and contains buffering agents, chelating agents, and surfactants as deodorizing ingredients. It deodorizes petrochemical organic substances generated from various industrial processes.
  • In addition to these organic substances, activated charcoal is documented to be effective in adsorbing and removing various complex odors. The range of adsorption power against common odors is shown in the following table.
